Webinar Series on Lessons Learned Implementing the Judicial, Court, and Attorney Measures of Performance

The Children’s Bureau is pleased to announce a new webinar series about lessons learned from jurisdictions that have already used the Judicial, Court, and Attorney Measures of Performance (JCAMP) in child welfare courts.

The webinar series will draw from the experiences of—

  • Several field-testing sites and others that incorporated JCAMP into their work from 2022–2024
  • The JCAMP Development Team (comprising judges, attorneys, court administrators, Court Improvement Program staff, system-impacted parents, adults with lived expertise as youth who experienced the foster care system, researchers, and federal partners)

Registration is open for the first webinar at 3 p.m. ET on January 28, 2025. Presenters will share key considerations for including individuals with lived experience in the JCAMP process. They will also offer practical tips for effectively involving lived experts at every stage of activating JCAMP locally.

Associate Director Anne Fromknecht and Senior Research Associate Tammy Richards helped develop the JCAMP documents, which were released in 2022, with Drs. Alicia Summers and Sophia Gatowski. JBA now leads a project to implement the measures.
