Evaluation Support for Izzi Early Education
Families with young children count on Izzi Early Education to deliver comprehensive, high-quality services backed by research. Located in the San Francisco Bay Area, Izzi strengthens families in need and supports child development from ages 0–5.
We developed an evaluation plan and logic models to help Izzi assess progress toward key goals through its Early Head Start, Head Start, and Family Child Care center-based and home visiting programs:
- Supporting children to be healthy and ready for school, and families to be engaged in their children’s development and to be self-sufficient
- Maximizing services for children and families in response to community needs
- Having a strong organizational culture and effectively recruiting, retaining, and supporting staff
The evaluation plan takes advantage of existing data and staff capacity while proposing future research to bolster understanding of family and staff experiences and program impact, and to further guide the equitable provision of services.
This project was funded by Tipping Point Community, a nonprofit that fights poverty by identifying and investing in promising interventions related to housing, early childhood, education, and employment.
