Project: Support to Build the Supply of Evidence-Based ProgramsLatinos in Action offers an asset-based approach to bridging the graduation and opportunity gap for Latino students, empowering youth to lead and strengthen their communities through college and career readiness.
This resource summarizes the program’s activities, accomplishments, and evaluation readiness. Being evaluation ready means a program has the knowledge, skills, and practices to test the effectiveness of its services. Latinos in Action has critical evaluation building blocks in place:
- A fully articulated logic model that shows the pathways between services and expected outcomes
- Fidelity tools to measure performance and determine whether services are delivered as intended
- Experience with rigorous external evaluation
The Annie E. Casey Foundation invested in Latinos in Action as part of its Building Evidence to Advance Equity portfolio, which supports programs developed by leaders of color for communities of color.
