This is the third of four modules providing home visiting research findings to inform pay for outcomes (PFO) feasibility studies and project development, including outcome selection, projected cost savings, and outcome payment pricing for PFO financial agreements.
Module 3 helps awardees—
- Identify relevant outcomes monetized in other fields like child development and school readiness, child health, and maternal health—especially outcomes with limited cost data in home visiting studies
- Locate per unit cost values researchers have used for these outcomes
- Identify data sources researchers have used to determine outcome costs
Module 3 contains a summary of results and individual profiles for each study. Profiles show study details, including research design, target population, monetized outcomes, per unit costs, and cost data sources.
