This tip sheet describes how training and technical assistance helped a child welfare system understand and use data. It is based on the report Supporting Change in Child Welfare: An Evaluation of Training and Technical Assistance, which includes results of case studies and telephone surveys of child welfare directors who reported on capacity building changes and sustained results in their states.
