Wisconsin expanded evidence-based home visiting services in communities at risk for poor child and family outcomes due to poverty, teen pregnancy, and single parenthood.
With funding from the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting Program, six local programs in the state implemented Healthy Families America, Nurse-Family Partnership, and Early Head Start.
This article highlights key findings from Wisconsin’s evaluation of three innovative practice strategies it used to support quality implementation across those home visiting models: communities of practice, a mentor-protégé program, and reflective practice.
