Two-generation approaches simultaneously work with children and their caregivers to address complex challenges.
Services focus on improving outcomes for the whole family and encompass areas such as early childhood development, parent education and employment, and family health and well-being. This holistic method builds stability, resiliency, and financial self-sufficiency to break the cycle of poverty.
JBA conducts implementation, outcome, and cost studies of programs that use a two-generation approach. We prepare cross-site analyses and in-depth case studies and incorporate implementation science to promote evidence-based practices.
